new energy, new promise
This past week, I tried to focus on marketing the course. Teachers and principals say they are interested, but I am not satisfied with the lack of enthusiasm. This needs to be a high energy course. I think I’ve been going about this in the wrong manner. Mainly, I’ve been going from school to school, arranging to talk to principals and teachers. But these talks have been very generic. I have not been very creative in my approach. The point is we are trying to infuse some excitement. I need to represent that excitement.
Over the past few days, however, I’ve been re-energized. By the end of this week, I will have 15 teachers officially signed up and ready to go!
I’ve been trying to find someone to help me develop the curriculum.. I don’t feel comfortable putting it together all by myself, but at the same time I am very set on the vision, the content, and how the material will be conveyed. This limits my options because a lot of the good people have curriculums set, which they tailor.
I’ve managed to talk to a few people and have come across some leads. I have promised myself that I will have hired someone by September 21 stÂ…that’s this Friday!! To achieve this, I need to continue talking to them. I’ve sent what I’ve come up with so far to some of these people to give them an idea of what I am looking for. Luckily, my email account has been quite active in the past few days, indicating these people’s interest..
I’m anticipating a high-energy week full of promise!
