The Grassroots Development Laboratory is always looking for people committed to finding solutions.

Interns

Selected shorter-term volunteers will join a workstream as part of an existing project team where their skills add the most value. Please visit the Our Projects page for more information on current projects and to help identify your area of interest.

Fellows

Individuals making a commitment of 10 months or more may propose projects that the Piramal Foundation will evaluate against our objectives, or may join an existing project team in accomplishing team goals. To discuss a new project please contact Anand Shah or visit the Our Projects page to help identify your area of interest.

Apply

To volunteer, we require:

(1) A minimum 3 month commitment
(2) Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age
(3) Compliance with GDL policies and rules
(4) A complete GDL Volunteer Application
(5) Send your CV/Resume to apply@gdl.org.in

The Piramal Foundation provides:

(1) Room and Board
(2) Expenses related to your GDL project
(3) Support from team leaders and GDL staff
(4) Encouragement to learn existing best practices
(5) Access to resources within our network
(6) A nominal stipend for incidental expenses

Volunteers are responsible for their healthcare and travel expenses to/from Bagar, Rajasthan.
